ROADMAP
The following is a broad roadmap of what we expect to develop for future content updates.

Current patch
1.0.0 launched on: April. 17th 2018.
1.1 launched on: May. 31th 2018.

List of planned features for the next updates
• Migration to Unreal Engine.
• Full mods support.
• Multiplayer optional mode.
• Secret Societies expansion.

We have great plans to continue developing Project Aura, but in the end it depends on the product success and how much it liked to players.

If I can be honest? I feel as though the planned multiplayer feels a bit pointless when it comes to a game like this. I understand if it's to be implimented with intent of being cooperative in building up a singular colony, but otherwise it feels a bit tacked on. I do look forward to seeing how it gets carried out though should there be enough support to carry it out and the other upcoming features.

What we have in mind is a "soft" multiplayer version. It means:

· Same market (so you and all in-game could affect stocks, prices, etc.) For the good or bad of other players. You can flood the market or inflate prices, etc.
· Same (tactical) map and disputed resources. You would decide where your ships go and farm and some places may be protected by other players or npcs, etc.
· Relationship among colonies (and new features like infiltrating, spying, etc.)
· Optionally cooperative quests/goals.
etc.

Not too interested in multiplayer for this type of game, but I have to say soft multiplayer sounds OK, I like the idea that the market is reacting to other players (would that be on a "global" scale? As in all multiplayer users everywhere, at once?).

Also congrats on the launch!

Your soft multi-player sounds good. Keep up the good work!

Just wondering since I have not seen it, are there any patch notes for the 1.00 release or was the only change in the game from 2.99 and 1.00 the page no longer saying its in early access?

I like the soft multiplayer thing. I want to play with friends.

I'm totally looking forward to the multiplayer!
Although PrAu isn't really fit for it, I hope it's done in a way, so I can specialize in Eco Corp alone and more or less peacefully live with the other corps.
If I could eg send my operators to a Neo Corp affiliated player to get them promoted in exchange for goods/ money/ services, I'd be overjoyed.

I would really like that multiplayer idea!!

as long as your soft multiplayer is optional and doesnt turn into needing always online for the base game

Sounds intresting i would like to see how it would work out.
And congrats on the release guys

Would like to see implementation to support sending units to raid another groups base when relations are not so friendly with said base. Otherwise its awesome as it currently is and the request is just a feature i'd like to see.

Of course, it is soft also in that aspect :)

It's nice to see you wanting to expand the game still. I have questions though:

Why do you want to change engines? That sounds like much work for little to no gain... What do you want to achieve? Enlighten us non-developers, please. :-D

Mods support? That is always good. Will you implemet a Steam Workshop system?

Multiplayer? I couldn't care less, but that is just me. :-D

Secret Societies expansion sounds intressting. Paid or free expansion?

As long as you arent following Maxis in the "soft" multiplayer area... What they did to SimCity was a tragedy....

Just want solid clarification. This game will not require to be online to play it right? And will DRM FREE builds be made available or as a purchaseable option?
