Wildlife rework question. Ptarmigan.

Are there any Ptarmigan in CH or am I going to have to get feather down for the trader from another region?

I haven't come across any since the wildlife refresh, but that doesn't mean they aren't in the region. None in DP either, so you may need to go to ML or PV from CH to get some.

I've done 3 runs since the last update. Each one is at least 35 days old. There are no pitarmigans or maple saplings in CH. I think it was done to make it harder to trade with merchants. Actually, this difficulty was done inadequately. A dragon should have been added to the 2nd entrance of the area and undead zombies should have been added to the places that can be used as bases, but somehow they forgot.

While I can't say for 100% since wildlife refresh I still haven't seen any in the coast regions where they didn't spawn before (Coastal, Desolation and Bleak didn't have any spawns prior).
Slight update as well, while there are notably less maple saplings then before some do still spawn in CH, had to run around and check on that.

In BI was a spot where Ptarmigans spawned.
It has been up on top of the hill when you go from the cannery to the broken bridge...the hill to your right.
There has alway been a fireplace, too.
But it's a very steep incline you have to go to get up there.
And I haven't been up there since the update, so I don't know if they still spawn there.

Haven't seen Ptarmigans in the whole of CH and DP...not even one!
That's for a Stalker run at about 200 days in since the big update.

There was no ptarmigan to my knowledge on coastal region (I'm surprise to read that there was some in BI, but good to know) even before the update, they tend to be on higher ground.
On the other hand, I noticed something: In ML, near the camp office cave, there used to sometime be a flock of 3 ptarmigans, now it's 1 or 2 at most...

In FM there has been a spot at marsh ridge.
It was between the upper cave entrance and the river at the bottom of a hill.
Have to check if it's still there.
I'll come back with that info as soon as I go to BR next time...maybe this evening...

Since the update can confirm a couple spots in FM on marsh ridge as well as the ones on muskeg overlook by the tower. ZoC still has the pack by the vista at bosses settlement since update.
