FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions

Many questions can be answered by reference the official, community-ran wiki[wiki.smartlydressedgames.com] for Unturned. The SDG Wiki is the official source for all of our games (and other projects).

For more technical questions such as server hosting or modding, refer to our official documentation[github.com] for Unturned. The information present on the U3-Docs repository is maintained by us.

Both of these sites are linked to from in-game. For troubleshooting, please refer to the "Troubleshooting" sub-forum instead.

Can I get items just by playing?

During certain time-limited events, players can receive a random playtime drop every 72 hours (real-time, not in-game time) simply by just playing the game. These items are purely cosmetic, and can be equipped from the main menu.

Are there any features that benefit streamers?

To help prevent stream-sniping, there is an optional "Streamer Mode". This mode can be toggled from the settings menus.

How do I submit feedback!? Where can I get the latest news?

There are a variety of official channels by which to get in contact with us, or to view the latest news.

hi guys, I created a server using an unturned deticated server, but the tools and structures we use are lost, how can I prevent this?

How to get "nearby" on to confortable spot? Which hud scale and/or resolution i need to use for "nearby" to get onto right?

How do I destroy structures? I can salvage the crates/walls I placed but I cannot get rid of the structures my Group made. one of their structures is blocking the Wall... I've tried hitting it so many times it doesn't break.
