Ramps and Roof's?

I've played this game for like 28 hours or something and I started building a house. I got my first floor done but I wanted to build a staircase (or ramp) to get upstairs. I didn't know the ingrediant so I went to the wiki and seeing how the wiki is really outdated I then went to guides for building houses. I tried the recipe it told me but I got nothing. I tried asking around in the comment sections of the author's of the guides but sadly didn't get an answer. Please tell me what to do, I really want a second story and a roof for my house :(

did u go to the unturned bunker wiki or the unturned wiki? unturned wiki is unturned 1, unturned bunker wiki is unturned 2. besides that im horrible and new at this game so idk what to say beside that, soz :S

I found out the ramps just now, turns out wooden platform and wooden foundation are two different things :P but im still lost on roof's :(

There is no actual "roof" object. To create a roof, you use a Wooden Platform. Need to put pillars up then put the platform on top of the pillars and it acts as a roof.

How can I align a ramp with the ramp wall? I'm trying to make a sloped roof but I can't fit them together?

The op is several years ago.
Anyway ramp wall will always be a tiny bit higher than the ramp itself (to form its sides I supposed.)
You probably would need to build a side by side floor manually along a ground/floor slope with slight height variation.
Then perhaps the ramp that you build later could line up with the top of the ramp walls.
