Sunlight in London?
I could have sworn I heard something about being able to sell sunlight in London, and I dodged a custom's check with a good viels roll, but I can't find anyone to sell it to here. Do I have to go all the way to the isle of cats to sell it?

This run my isle of cats happens to be right near aetherist or whatever it's called, but that's a much less safe way to get sunlight....

It should be saleable to The Blind Bruiser. I'm not sure how it works, though, since I've only sold sunlight a couple of times, and both times were to the Isle.

I suppose that makes sense, then again seeing as I told him I was done running souls for him maybe he just buggered off and doesn't want to do any business with me. I just didn't want to worry about constantly having his packages back with me before I came back to london lest I get my kneecaps broken. Oh well I think you can sell it in gaiden too?

yeah, you need to still be working for him. After London, your best bet is the Isle of Cats. Gaider's Mourn's prices are criminal (heh) and they don't return the boxes.

Ah, that probably accounts for it.

You can, but it's not very worthwhile.

You can go up to the surface via the Cumean Canal, and fill them all without the injuries. There's one storylet that uses the sunlight as part of the quest reqs that I know of. There may be other uses for it later on as they release new storylets/content.

Can you farm sunlight from Aestival, as opposed to the surface? You know, the island under the crack in the ceiling?

It tends to wound you. Not sure why the Surface doesn't, except that it'd be nearly impossible for any story action to happen there if that were a constant danger.
Since it's only a chance, rather than something that necessarily happens, I suppose it's just that your zailors get more careless at Aestival, whereas they're more on guard when they've gone to the trouble of a whole arduous journey all the way up to the Surface.

I'm not sure, but I just assumed it was cause you HAVE to leave the ship to fill the mirrorboxes on Aestival whereas on the surface, the sun is everywhere so you can do it from the safety of your ship.
He probably just opens the boxes and throws them out onto the deck for an hour when its just on the surface.

Well, honestly, considering most denizens of the Neath are basically undead, the Surface is way too safe at present.

I think I have a half decent route going now.

London do your other things. Pick up as much mushroom wine as you can, go near due east, drop wine off at Godfall, very close on my map is polythreme and khan's heart and due east fo that is khan's shadow.

Pick up mirror catch boxes at khan's shadow, go south east to aesvial, fill up boxes until you are full or have two wounds go a very little south west to the isle of cats, sell the sunlight, if amazingly lucky and no wounds fill them back up, if two wounds, go back to khan's shadow sell the empty boxes, pick up some stygian ivory, sell ivory at polythreme, pick up a shipmen of clay men then go home back to london.

Is it worth it to get the secure compartment?

if you have high heart you shouldn't need it, but it would help a great deal if not

I have never had a clay man wake up Nor have I had my crew try to steal any sunlight but that may have been luck. I don't think my hearts are much more than like 40-50.

What do the inspectors DO with the filled mirrorcatch boxes that they confiscate? Sunbathe perhaps?
