well they said after the steam sale. But they also said that the actual update wll come in 2017. So i dont know how to feel about that after steam sale statement.
1.0 version should had been released by end of 2017 as developers said, as we can see they failed even on that... Now they said they will release it after end of steam sales which is 4th january. So the game will be released probably in april 2018.

As for the features we voted for they don`t even care about it because no statement has been posted about what 2 features were choosed by the community.
DMS seems to fail a lot in recent time.

What annoys me the most that an Dev actually confirmed the 1.0 2017 release 3 Days before New Year... Like didnt they were able to see that the release would not happen at that point?
DMS thought they can achieve success on business of this game if they can avoid release during Steam Sale. I think that's stupid, because they do this by breaking their word ! And it seems that they unthoughtful and naive when they make some first decisions, did they really not realize there should be a Winter Sale during the end of 2017 when they announced the release date wouldn't more than the end of 2017 ? And I really don't think it will harm their business benefits if they release it on the end of 2017. Maybe many people want to buy this game after its release, but if they miss this year's winter sale due to still no release on the end of 2017, so most of them will wait until next big sale then buy the game. But no one would like to support a retractor's product, and that is the real harm to DMS's benefits. So, DMS making these delay and break-word decisions really makes no sense.
THE END of 2017 !!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to add some words for this precisely described situation in which DMS get into by themselves, what is the point of making a feature poll of game which is close to release? Usually developers make this at start of development in case of CtA 2014...

From the Vote:

"Already early next year, we will start working on some cool new features. But to decide on what we should focus, your help is required."

We are talking about features that weren't planned for the version 1.0, that will be added for free after release.

No we did not, we just didn't name it 1.0 to avoid confusion. The game includes all features that were promised. It is so to say finished. At this stage we are simply improving it.

The feature vote is for features that we deliver after the official release. The official release is due to the first half of 2018 and we will announce a set release date in due time.

I think you are mixing up the DLC schedule with the game schedule. We have not said such things.
So basically 3 years in early acess stage...

Who cares as long as it is playable and still supported with updates and improvements? I'd rather have a long term supported early access game than an abandoned full game...
Well there is some truth to that, but with this long process and constant postponing release date. game will more likely loose more and more players so when it will be finally released there will be even smaller playerbase than now.

Also 3 yers with just 2 factions. This is what bugs me most, we already should have had few more if they just would keep to their promised release date.

Thanks for explaining this to us clearer

If you don’t mind me asking, which features will you be implementing first?
It seems options A and E are the most popular choices from the community.

By the way, will you guys add in China and other nations after the German and Russian DLC?
Will definitely purchase the ultimate edition if more factions are in the plan.

Maybe i did get that wrong. Because i dont know how to get posts linked on the mobile app, this is the discussions/post name: "You know it would be a great time to release this game, before the long weekend". Somebody referred to an statement of the unofficial release in 2017 and the official one after the sale, and an Dev answered to that Refered statement as "thats correct".

Anyways nevermind me then. Didnt want to ♥♥♥♥ anybody off. I just understood the "thats correct" as an confirmation that the facts in that statement (unofficial release in 2017) are still correct.

Our count is A and C so far, we keep it up a little longer for people to vote and declare the feature winners in the next devupdate.

We gotta see how things develop, at this point, we'd rather make no further promises, but instead deliver the factions we already announced.

Well the current update is the unofficial release version, we just preferred to make no big fuzz about it. I think what people want to see right now, is the game to go live on Steam and that's what we will focus on.
