"Training Mode"?
It seems that the single-player/offline mode is purely just local co-op. Is there the possiblity of there being a training mode or bots to play offline against?

:3 It's probably best though to keep the game at it's core online area.

I don't see it being possible as the bots would have to have aimbot to assist them and would most likely just shooting you as soon as you got in their line of site. that being said REALLY GOOD CODING could possibly lead to bots but I don't think they're going to put the time in for it.

Hm. I could see a gamemode with training bots. They wouldn't do much aside from walking around in circles or jumping or whatever, but could come in helpful for those who are still coming to grips with second person shooting.

Yeah... I was wondering how puling bots off would be possible, because they could just be coded to aim at you. But maybe they could pull it off XD

Normal bots are likewise coded to aim at you, but they have cones of fire and other methods of preventing them from being perfectly accurate. The issue is not unique to this game.

There could be 2 accuracy levels for the bots: standard and precise. Standard would be for when they are simply looking at your screen. Precise would be for when you attack, assuming you are in their field of view at the time. If they are in your field of view, they could have a chance of noticing and turning toward you. If you stand still for long periods, that could also bump their accuracy from standard to precise.

The "Bots" could just walk on rails and be passive to practice aiming ;)

We have been throwing around the idea of a target practice mode where you have a time to beat kind of thing as a single player mode, but right now we're focused on the core of the game, which is what you have today.

What about play alone offline, without bots? It would let you get used to weapons and maps before braving off into the online (or local) unkown.

I feel it would be best to focus on the base game, working out kinks in multiplayer and local, before jumping on the "Pratice Mode"

Now that i think of it, you could have like a catch the targets multiplayer/single player mode where there would be random targets around the map and like murder mystery, you would have the location of 3 of the targets, where there is a total of 12. 3 "known" locations for each person. and then make the players run around trying to hunt them XD

Wall of text here :I sry

Bots won't really work if they can shoot back - just add invisible figures which walk random paths on the map so you can chase them down ;)

Finally in the game :)
