Playing ADR1FT on Steam using your Oculus Rift

Hello all...we're happy to be able to inform you all that we've been able to secure a license to allow you to play ADR1FT on Steam using your consumer version Oculus Rift. The only requirements are the 1.3 runtime, an Oculus Rift, and Steam ownership.

We still recommend you have the VR experience through Oculus Home. Oculus has built a great VR platform and we will gladly send a key your way if you are a Steam owner.

The choice is yours to make!

does that mean that we can not launch steam-bought vr-games in oculus-home without an oculus-store-key? when I buy a game in the origin store, i can put it in my steam-library so i can launch it via steam. i have more than a dozen vr-titles in my steam-library and not being able to launch these games via oculus home would be a real bummer.

I downloaded 1.3sdk but there is no runtime exe file ... wtf

I own the DK2 and the game is working with oculus home (1.3 runtime). There is a warning message saying "DK2 is not supported on the Oculus platform [...]", but this can be ignored. Everything is working fine. best regards

Hey gabdimension. It should be very easy to redeem your key. We are working on an automated system right now.

ok i have send an email to the 505games support. Im waiting now. The game is also fantastic without VR but hey i have my DK2 on my desk right now so u can imagin how nervus i am ;-) thx

Just bought it on steam and emailed you guys for the oculus home key.

every VR Steam games a always played with my DK2 doesn t work now because of the Oculus home it start automaticly and says..... Unknown Source... this is the end of VR for me...

If everyone could get a key without going through support, people could just buy the game, refund it, have an Oculus key. Or let a russian buy it for you, get an oculus key and get it cheap.
