Option to turn off Black and White Shader?
I actually liked it when the game was normal 'dark and gritty'.

Black and white is fine, but it makes it hard to see the world and soak into the atmosphere.
Hurts my eyes too.

Would it be too much trouble to add a option to turn it off?
(and have Black and White on by default)

If you don't mind playing with an INI file, it can be done. You want to open the following file.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Afterfall_Reconquest_1\PearlGame\Config (path may differ based on install options and OS) and open PearlSystemSettings.INI, then fine and edit DepthofField from True to False. The game hud will still be rather colourful, but the game scenary and actors will return to how it was previously.
Oh, thanks.

Maybe the devs will bother to implement this in the options menu?

+1
The thing is that if they continue with this art style in future content/episodes, unless they implement both art styles it probably will be just black and white with a hint of red.

The art style is cool, I admit, but it's so painful on the eyes.

The game isn't bad, besides the voice acting and story (which are fairly shoddy, but I understand it's a polish to english translation), but a stronger art style on a normal color filter would be just fine.

Maybe just outline everything and keep the blood a vibrant red?

I got Afterfall Insanity for free and i enjoyed it. Watched some videos of Reconquest and decided to buy it just to find out that it was updated to this new style a la MadWorld. After 30 minutes of playing i felt that my eyes are bleeding.

We will still be working on b/w effect - sodont worry its not final/final version but still EA "in progress"

I don't want b/w effect. I just regret to have bought the game since it turned like this just a few days after I bought it. And I don't play it any more because the b/w
I would still like a option in-game to turn it off, and have it on by default.
It would be much more convienient.

I simply just think in black and white it's very difficult to distinctify some things besides blood.
It takes away from the environmental art too.

+1 to it being an option that can be turned on or off. Will really help those off us with visual challenges.

I don't like the B/W effect either, makes it difficult to see the monsters
