Is there something like Zandorum or GZDoom I can play this in?

thanks anyways, hoping Halo online was worth the download. Now that quake live is dead I need another online shooter that isn't a hat fest.
http://xlengine.com/ Support is in varying states at the moment but include or will soon include: DarkXL (Dark Forces), DaggerXL (Daggerfall) and soon OutlawsXL (Outlaws) and BloodXL (Blood).BloodXL Status – Pre-Release, first build after XL Engine Merger.

Honestly, no. No multiplayer outside setting it up through DOSBox. Which is a pain.

BloodCM is a Duke Nukem 3D mod focused on multiplayer that is alright, though it's far from perfect. Much closer than the DooM mods that mimic Blood, at least.

There's been no source code released, and every project to make a new engine seems to get to loading some of the game, and it just vaporizes.

BuildSharp ( https://sites.google.com/site/buildsharp/ ) seems somewhat promising, but it's not out.

There's Transfusion, a multiplayer ONLY free fan remake on the Quake 1 (enhanced Darkplaces) engine, but good luck finding players.

Honestly, as someone who has been following this for a long time... don't be so enthusiastic. He's a man with a personal life besides creating remakes of 1990's PC game engines from scratch, and I respect that, but oh my sweet baby Jesus that man never updates. It's been approximately 1.5 years since he last updated his blog with any info, and there may be a rare "Sorry guys, I'm busy," on the forums here and there. But yeah; it seems dead, pretty much, especially after he took a break on Blood when Jace Hall posted on some forums about trying to bring Blood back... in some vague way that never materialized.

That's true at least for Blood, the main game I was interested in that he's supporting. Dark Forces (never cared for it) is pretty much 99% perfect from what I hear, and Daggerfall... well, he put out a beta, and you can walk around in it.

I was afk but had mouse so just copied and pasted. I understand the situation with it. Would be nice to see it complete and released one day. I use XL for Dark forces and it works great. Not my favourite but I enjoy all the old FPS. Would love to see outlaws done too.

Duke Nukem Megaton Edition has multiplayer, although I think you might have to go to the games properties in steam and subscribe to Beta Updates because I believe that abandoned a full release awhile back.

The multiplayer is fairly dead on weekdays, and sometimes on weekends I could fit in A 1V1 against someone online. People just dont know about it
