Bell tower - East of King's Bridge, North of Ratu Gahdi (fortress)
This seems like a 'typical' tower, until you reach the top, where it appears you're supposed to leap across the width of the tower, over an open space, to catch a climbing ledge. I haven't made it, yet, and I'm wondering if there's a trick, or if it's just a matter of timing. I'm about ready to do the gyrocopter thing, but I'm pretty sure that I'm high enough to set off the elevation warning.

Aint there point for grapling hook? So you can swing over?

Pretty sure I tried running and jumping but the wingsuit prevented that from happening. I think in the end, I simply walked to the edge and jumped while looking up and mashing spacebar.

Yeah, there are like 3-4 of them that are real tough with the jumping and I have not done that one yet. They seem much harder than FC3 with all the new ways of "getting" you. Animals attacks, helicopter triggers, inaccessability, etc.
Once you reach the "level" where the grappling hook appears.......use it and then "climb" up the rope until you are above the next ledge, to your left. Swing to it and then "release" the rope.
You are now on the level with the transmitter.

You can indeed make that leap.

What you need to do is:

1) *AIM YOUR RETICULE UPWARDS AT THE TOP OF THE LEDGE*
2) go back to the very edge of the tower opposite it,
3) sprint run toward the edge,
4) press jump at the edge
5) *don't forget to release sprint or you'll just glide on by*

#5 is an interesting point - I never knew that was necessary thanks!
Thanks for the info; I was definitely holding sprint and gliding into the face without latching on

That's f@#4ing evil. The prompt was flashing up so fast I didn't even notice it, and I couldn't tell I was wingsuiting because I was then immediately flying right into the board and falling to my death (though I guess that should have been a clue). Thanks!

I had to use the chopper for three of them, but I still have the long jump issue for the last letter by the gulag. Too high for a chopper.
I used the buzzer/chopper thing on that one, believe it or not. I lined up with a corner of the tower, just under the elevation alarm buzzer and the proper level on the tower, and back 100m or so. Went forward till I got close to the tower, then up till the alarm went off and hit exit button at the right time. I bailed off at just the right time and landed on the correct level of the tower. This succeeded the first time I tried it.

I had previously spent at least 2 sessions on seperate days, trying to do it on foot. I rage quit that tower for a day or two. lol
Finally got it after a dozen attempts. Released shift and mashed the space bar just at the right time. Pain in the ass!

^ amen!
this wasn't a fun tower..
"Gyrocopter" works for me.
Thank you for the clarification with "shift". I tried this tower -as the last one!- for about 15 times, never made the jump or the trick with the gyrocopter. Releasing shift right after the jump and then press space did the trick for me.

by the way: I had to look down the ledge at my feet to be able to sprint before the jump. Looking up tp the ledge I needed to get to did always make me just walk.

I did like most towers but this one I really hated...
