They need Linux to get the 30 y/o MoO heroes on board.
Sorry boddy I am not native english speaker and I dont get it
Linux version is MUST HAVE !
Do you read about Windows 10? It`s a US-spy operation system only! Do you have one?
Now at all world, only linux/ubuntu protected you info, accounts, and money... :(
Please make this available on the Mac!!!!!!!! The originals were any it was one of the most addictive games ever...
+1, will only buy if there's Linux/Mac support.
I am a huge fan of the Master of Orion series. MOO2 was my favourite, but I played them all, a lot, starting with StarLords and MOO and then the ill-fated MOO3. Somewhere along the journey I learned that Master of Magic existed, got a copy and loved it --my playtime in MOM easily equals the thousands of hours I must have put into MOO2.

I played them all in MS-DOS in its day, then in Windows95, and then in DOSBOX when I shifted to GNU/Linux. I still play MOO, MOO2 and MOM, occasionally, because I can get them to work easily with DOSBOX. I can't play MOO3, however, which is a pity because despite the poor general result, it had some nice ideas in it.

I would definitely help fund a good, proper MOO sequel, but going back to Windows is for me a non-negotiable issue. In today's world, a port to GNU/Linux should not be nor hard to accomplish, and as someone pointed out, the fans of the saga who are in my situation might amount to quite a lot.

YES! I think so !

+ will only buy if there's Linux/Mac support.
Moo is one of the best computer games of all time. But if this doesn't include Linux support I would be happy to keep playing the original in DosBox. Windows will never take up space on any of my hard drives again.
