The crater visuals are A.I generated

While doing the Gibraltar mission, were there are no recon photos, but the crater visuals appear, I noticed the Gemini watermark on the upper corner of the crater. I am upset about this, and would love to see it changed to either a human made visuals, or a historical photo overlay.

I had no intention of using AI-generated assets. The craters, I used Adobe stock photos for and I took those stock photos and overpainted them, edited them, added other cracks and effects. It seems like some of those stock photos must have been AI-generated. As soon as it was brought to my attention I started talking about it on Discord. Other artists were mentioning that Adobe Stock Photos is absolutely just full of AI-generated images, which I didn't know at the time. I'm not a 2D artist by trade.

Here you can see the stock photo that I was using was like black cracks on a transparent white-ish background which i underlaied under the another crater image which i then painted more details over.

I don't even know what to say. I'm so sorry. I had no idea that Adobe stock photos were full of AI. I've made such a huge effort, even when working with freelancers to make sure that they always send me the PSDs and raw source files. I take this incredibly seriously. I will repaint all of these because I don't know what other stock photos may have also been AI-generated. At this point, due to editing and painting over them, I don't see any other watermarks but I have no way to know at this point.

It's 2:30 in the morning on a Saturday I really need to get some sleep. I already have tomorrow's patch ready, which fixes some other bugs, but I'll try and see if I can start replacing and redoing all of the impact icons during the week.

I don't think there's anything I can do about it at this very moment. but i will replace them as soon as i can.

For godsake, this game made by two devs. It is ok for them to rely on AI when making indie games. low budget and they have passion for the game. Don't be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. play the game have fun. or uninstall the damn thing and STFU

AI content needs to have a disclaimer on the steam store page, even something as small as this.

Not sure why a crater would need to be AI generated instead of simply placing a PNG over the map location but you are also the only one to bring this up so do you have a screenshot.

so tired of seeing all these "AI Warriors" whining about a stupid minor image of a crater possibly being AI .. " they have to declare the use of AI" .. such nonsense, what difference does it make if a small dev. team uses a minor AI or buying premade assets ..then the whiners cry about devs who asset flip .. who the hell cares, theres so much more important things happening that deserves being upset about in the world..

I mean, sure. But these are also steam's policies. I personally don't care if something this small in a dev team of two people was made with AI or not. Either way it's in the steam TOS that you need to disclose such things.
