K not a rant - Why is this based in Japan yet called Silent hill

Silent hill is based in or around silent hill i am assuming this has something to do with it

Looks amazing but i donno the name is throwing off but i guess cant make it silent hill and not call it that.

otherwise i hope after this we get a remake of SH1.. i mean cmon that game needs it

Silent Hill can mean the Town Silent Hill, it can mean your Silent Hill (not the town Silent Hill per se but like a manifest world) it can now also mean Silent Hill as in a phenomenal according to the short message. I'm sure someone who is a super fans can explain more to you.

If Silent Hill were only in one part of the US then we could just wall it off and wouldn't it be pretty underwhelming then?

Silent Hill 3 was not even set in the same location as SH2
