Shadowgate in VR
I recently bought an HTC Vive and after playing around on it for a while, I realized that a Shadowgate game in VR would be one of the best games ever. Can you imagine actually holding the torches in your hand and using it to light up the rooms, you would have to actually crouch down and look under tables and actually reach out and use your torch to burn things. I really hope this is something that happens in the future. I sent Zojoi an email saying all of this but never heard back so I'm hoping to just get the idea out there with hopes that more people email them about it and maybe they will start a Kickstarter for it.

Yeah that would be nice too. There was a pretty cool Shadowgate game on the N64. It was so hard, but really fun too. If you've never played it, you should totally try it, it's definitely worth it. If I rememeber right, it was just called Shadowgate 64

Yeah I used to own it back in the day. Great game, but it was lacking in some areas. Mainly character interaction. Wasn't many creatures to defeat if I recall correctly.

that would be cool but sadly, not everyone would be able to play a VR version because not everyone can afford a VR headset or whatever it's called.

We've talked about it but really it's kinda tough with a 2D game. We're looking at it for the future tho as we have 2 HTC vives we are testing some concepts on...

Thats so cool. I guess I was picturing more of a Shadowgate 64 style type of game rather than a 2D style. But no matter what, I would love another Shadowgate game in any style.

and to think i was not alone to play around with the tought of vr version of Shadowgate :)
what could improve... real 3d scanned enviroment and live action cgi
instead of point klick you actualy have a live action VR game based on the adventure. with grafics as close to the real deal.
prehaps sience it is kind of a violent game up the grafics to a more adult aduience... where do i begin there is so many ways to die in the game beside comit murder in the most brutal way.

i still remember fealing a little sorry for knocking the cyklops out with a rock just to slowly stick him with a sword and watch as the life pored out of that monster and this was back in the days with the nes version. he made a very sad looking corps.

while at it i think nudity sells just make it a horror experience like Agony and there is great potential to be the best game evah!
i talking gore liveaction VR adventure with a helthy dos of nudity here 18+ kind of ♥♥♥♥♥! ♥

sorry i reach out here, I can't seem to find any shadowgate VR forums anywhere nor any discord channel of the company.

I just wanted to ask, after the last update after every spell I use on my right controller there seem to be very small (barley noticeable but after you feel it you can't unfeel it) vibration lingering... it stays until i hit a save spot.. at which point it doesn't happen until I pick up my wand again.

any chance you can check it and patch it if neccery? thank you! (love the game so far btw)

the idea was a consept idea due to this game. and one of the dev's mentioned that there is a shadowgate VR game for the oculus quest library.
something that have nothing to do with this shadow gate game nor with steam in general.
the only thing in comon is that they belong to the shadowgate frenchise
