I reported between 70 and 100 bugs since Ideology was released and a lot of them have been fixed or at least made it into the bug tracker. Some people don't make any meaningful bug reports without anything to work with and are just rants without substance. If asked to give further information, rarely people just respond as if the devs should figure it out themselves, maybe with an added insult. It's not hard to read from your OP what was likely the cause here.
