High social value and fights
Do pawns with high social values get in social fights less? Do they communicate better even then?

I would say it depends. A high social skill also affects social impact, be that positive or negative. If you've got a colonist who's a jerk, ie someone with the Abrasive trait, and a high social skill, their negative interactions are going to have more impact on others' opinions of them than if they had a lower social skill. Which will lead to more social fights as other pawns' will have negative opinions of them.

A pawn with a high social skill and the Kind trait? At a base of 100%, which is around a Social skill of 6-7 (somewhere in there?), every time they do their kind words thing, pawns get a +15 positive opinion of the Kind pawn. With a Social skill of 20, I think that raises up to about +20 positive opinion. That pawn will be all sorts of popular and rarely, if ever, get into social fights.

The Abrasive and Kind traits are on opposite ends of the spectrum. Abrasive having more negative social interactions while Kind pawns will have more positive interactions. A normal pawn without either trait will fall somewhere in between. So a normal pawn with a high social skill can go either way, their interactions can be positive or negative. Their high Social skill will only dictate how much impact these interactions will have on other pawns.

So, I suppose for a normal (non Abrasive/Kind) pawn, it might be kind of random depending on what type of interactions they have. Positive or negative.

TLTR: Social fighting is due mostly to pawns' opinions of each other and how well they get along. And high social skill affects how much impact interactions have.

I haven't checked the stats in a while, I might be off. And I think I lost my point halfway through.

It's funny, since Abrasive pawns make so many enemies, when they die all their enemies get a mood buff for 'rival died'.

I would say no, social fights are just kinda random. Social skill does affect social interaction and thus mood and social opinion. i.e. a good social pawn tends to have more friends (not counting traits)
