Anyone else waiting for a bigger discount?
I was gonna get this then I saw the DLC, which immediately turned me off. Do developers and publishers realise what a turn off DLC is? Do they care..?

Also in regards to the discounts. 6% off is a joke for a game this old. I know it's popular, but how many thousands of people are just waiting for a bigger discount. Would it really hurt giving 20% off? I sincerely doubt it.

Quantity = £££

Do what you like. Happy new year folks.

Hahaha yeah I was just on Battle Brothers page and got it mixed up. 🐖💨
I got over 700h in this game and it's well worth its price. You don't need dlc there is ton of mods to keep you busy.
The game is still updated frequently and you have a massive amount of mods available for free. You can play thousands of hours even without the DLC.

The price is fine and should not be lowered imho.
Clearly the difference between 6% and 20% discount means enough that you wont pay extra so why should they agree to be paid less? Maybe they are as cheap as you...

You don't need the DLC. Nothing in the DLC is required. There's no mods that needs the DLC unless its a mod for the DLC.
whining about needing an extra $3 off the price is basically just walking into a room and rubbing your poor spores all over everything. Stop being gross

Buyers remorse before even buying it. :2015cookie: Gosh, more 1st world problems.
Good luck with that, tough times I know.

Its capitalism. The game is popular because the majority of players that buy it find it fun as ♥♥♥♥. It does not need to go on sale to generate sales, thus it doesn't. Simple.

Dito, have a fun & safe 2021 :greenfruit:
Some seriously stupid responses up in here. Please don't respond if your IQ is below your age or shoe size, children. You're wasting your words and you're wasting my time.

I don't buy games at full price. End of story. If that's such a big problem for some of you and you need to insult me directly or passive-aggressively. Guess what? Satan is your Daddy. You're full of evil. Like your weak father the Devil.

I said 20% off as an example... I would actually hope for a bigger discount. Say 50% off... lol

Money is tight at the moment. Plus mommy and daddy don't buy my games. I do :pug:

Yeah well it always feels like something important is missing when missing DLC packs. Take into consideration expansion packs that might increase level caps and add-in a bunch of stuff. It feels similar.

You might want to take your own advice; you obviously have very little idea how economics (especially regarding retail sales) works.

Let's review:
  • No one owes you a discount.

  • Your circumstances mean exactly diddly to most other people; they aren't your friends or family.

  • Video games are a LUXURY. No one cares all that much, if you're deprived of a specific game – or even all games – and you won't die without it.

  • The main game and DLC sell quite well, according to Steam. Hence, heavy discounts merely lose money permanently; there's no reason for them at all.

  • Royalty came out long after the "1.0" release. What, you expect the game to stay static forever..? Furthermore, would you like to speak to all the nitwits who whine about updates, when they happen? No? Then let it go.

  • The game was $30 during Early Access. Do you REALLY want to whine about $1 or $2 (after discount from $35)?! Yeah, no. It may yank your chain, that Tynan respects his Kickstarter and EA early-adopters, but *none of us care* how much your undies are bunched up =).

All you get for your attitude is a tiny violin.
