Not even a discount for the dlc on the winter sale?

Not enough content for the full price and its surprising there is not even a 15% discount going for it this christmas. Guess i'll wait a few years until the dev realises noone is buying at that price and lowers it

yes people have bought it but its certainly not worth the price when mods have added far more content for free. A discount after all this time for the year's biggest sale would have seen a lot of interest and would have been a purchase from me

That's a pretty contradictory statement right there. What is it, not worth any price because you can get mods for free? Or worth buying at a lower price because you placed your own value on something you haven't played or have any real way to quantify?

I bought the base game in EA and DLC when it was launched and I am happy with both of them plus the price is fine.

What kind of discussion are you trying to have? Because from where I'm standing, it looks like you ain't interested in discussion at all. Like all you want is to rant that you should be getting things for cheap. You know, the spirit of the holidays - protesting that luxuries are too expensive.

Im not the only one in the steam discussions who's been dissuaded from purchasing the dlc because it hasnt gone on sale for the entire year.
That and most people who have bought it tell others not to because it isnt worth the price. That on top of people interested in the game not wanting to pay for the experience because the most its ever gone on sale for is 10%.
Im just stating anyway thats the reason I wont be buying the dlc and maybe the devs will take notice for the future and lower the price a little, I have no idea why you guys are getting so defensive as if i've made a personal attack against you.

If a game is not sold at all, there are sales. If a game had a good start but is not bought well afterwards, there are sales. If a game is offered by a big publisher there are regular sales.

If an indie studio has a good game that sells well, there are no or only marginal discounts to buy.
Small independent studios need to see how money comes in to pay bills and fund future projects. Independent studios can't go public and can't ask for inverstor pools. That is reserved for the big publishers.

This happens literally every time. Even far back in early access when it was still like $15. There was always posts like "its been X years, why is this not 50% off".

Can you imagine the whining when it fully released with at a higher price? They were like "I waited years for a discount and it increased in price?" Funniest thing ever.

People, understand this. This is one of the best games that has released in nearly 10 years. If it's not your style then you would be wasting your time and money no matter what it costs.

At 30 dollars, this game is already discounted compared to triple A titles.

Just buy it. If you're into these types of games, you absolutely will not regret it. No, it's not perfect. I have complained about a few things on here myself. But christ, almost 800 hours later, i'm still playing.

The chains of events that can happen in this game will keep you going for countless hours.
