And here I thought I was the only one with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ colonists. One of my guys also insists on eating corpses and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it when there's cooked food for him to eat as well.

If -4 on the mood is enough for make you in trouble you do sometime wrong.
Keep multiple tables around your base so MOST of the time, they eat with a table...
Even if they don't time to time, this is not a big deal... (it stack but it stop after 1/4 of a day)

Sometime, they take the action before the food is actually cooked...
even if you cook some the time they got there (for example, if they were mining away),
they don't change their mind.

You need to ALWAYS had cooked food and
ALWAYS butcher corpses right when you got one so even if they don't eat the
cooked food, you are not going to get the corpse eating mood malus.
(-7 for 1/2 day for the raw food vs -12 for one complete day if they eat a corpse)

To be fair, it sounds like the character was likely already in a bad mood. Pessimist gives a permanent mood penalty, and jealous adds another possiblity for getting upset. Gay characters also often end up unhappy due to trying to hit on straight characters and getting rebuffed.

WHY NOT??????????

Research has shown that (barring mods) placing a table with a chair next to it every 20 tiles will solve all of your guys problems...... well excpet for Jonwoo89's problem, for that I suggest one of 2 things 1) appeaase him with blood sacrifices as well as cooking his food only to "rare" so that he can still get the juicy bloody goodness without the whole food poisoning thing or 2) Euthanise him.

I recomend option 2 so that you no longer have to sleep with one eye open whenever you run low on corpses.....

I always had food though. I actually watched this guy one time wake up and go eat the corpse of a beaver while there was 20 fine meals in the same freezer and per usual, not eat at the table. It was a shame too because he was a really good builder, miner, and grower with the green thumb and hard worker traits. He would just constantly do things to make himself unhappy though and was constantly at the breaking point.

He ended up dying to a manhunter warg who I like to assume was tired of his ♥♥♥♥ also :P

Yeah, guys thats the thing. Henry is not only one Jealosy b*stard im my colony and i can close my eyes on pessimism and rebuffed gay sh*t but placing freaking tables all over the map got my gears grinding.

p.s. That feeling when you have 2 jealous colonists and you need to decide who is going to sleep in a most awesome bedroom xD

Fortunately, when drafted you can order characters to attack each other. Draft them both, order them to attack. The winner gets the super fancy bedroom. Loser gets his organs harvested. :3

That is way though just make them both drop their wepons and fight a few deers barehanded and who ever lives they get the awsome bedrooma and if they both die one of the les tempermental colonist gets the awsome bedroom and the 2 deaths serves as a reminder for the rest to behave.... or makes them go berserk... either way win win!

Deer fighting is okay, but I still prefer my idea. :p

Why not incorporate both ideas? Imagine colonist vs colonist vs wildlife. Losers get their organs harvested and the winner gets a swanky bedroom unless of course the winner is the wildlife in that case a cathardic blood filled vengance upon them all.

Then you have a colonist tame the deer, and give the deer the swank bedroom. And a bionic eye! And the loser's kidneys! Damn it, I want cyborg deer in the game now.

There is the mod "a dog said" which allows you to put implants into animals although I am not sure if that extends to deers...... I MUST FIND OUT... for "scientific" reasons of course.
