What's up with Tynan answering a lot of negative reviews on 21 juli

I did not try to pull Tynan into bad light. I observered and I wondered, while don't liking how he answered those negatives reviews (stupid positives one are fine!)

I looked through some of the recent negative reviews, the ones he asked for people to remove them are because the review is more about the person not liking the genre of the game, not the game itself. For example, one of the reviews said that it isnt his type of game, and that was literally it. I get why Tynan would want those reviews removed, as they really arent reviews. Just a persons opinion towards a genre of games, but not the game itself. There were also some reviews that literally had nothing in it that he replied to, and I get it. Those reviews really shouldn't be there, destroying the steam ratings. But then again, rimworld is sitting at a 96% lol

edit: Fear none, he asked for someone to remove is review because he had 400h in.. and such got a lot of value out of it (You know, where you need a lot of time, to fully grasp and understand a game. I could spend hours complaining about Rimworld BECAUSE I played 1000h)

And of course, positive reviews with no valued content (like one sentences, meme stuff, you know this stuff), don't have an answer, who he asked to deleted those unhelpful reviews.

IMO I think it is remarkable that he took the time to do that, he is extraordinarily engaged... IMO is is perfectly within his rights to ask people to reconsider for any reason.

Also, anyone who plays 400 hours and gives a negative review better explain exactly what changed or I will be very dismissive, and I totally understand challenging it.

Everything changed. The final version of the program is going to be an entirely different one, that has nothing to do with alphas and beta. And not a good one, if current development vector would continue. In fact, I can't even use a word "game" for it. You know, there are "text generators" that make up some gibberish that looks like a meaningful text on a glance but is nonsense? That's Rimworld 1.0 for you.

In short - everything. Like, no joke, seriously, everything. But as the main problem - Tynan SUDDENLY remembered that he doesn't want a sim strategy, he wants a story generator. So he annihilates every kind of strategical gameplay, railroading player to suffer inevitable losses no matter how good they are. You can be awful and do everything wrong or do everything perfectly - it does not matter at all. Rimworld 1.0 is a meat grinder, where difficulty setting is just a speed setting.

It was always meant to be a story gen. This was obv from the start, and i been playing since A7.

Tyann is right when he says this is a game he can keep adding on to. The possabley of failure is very strong so its not just a speed setting.

All the kickstarter goals have been surpassed
