Game Character Hub

Game Character Hub

Virus Detected
I never had any issues with Game Character Hub before, but today it updated and McAfee is detecting it as a virus. False positive I assume? http://gyazo.com/6ed78786e8e939b10c6f8ae326614ddc

The exact same thing happened to me, also with McAfee. Since neither McAfee nor the game cache of Game Character Hub are upset after restarting my computer, I'm leaning very heavily toward believing that it's a false possitive as well.
Same problem here, not another one of those situations where only certain anti-virus programs detect the "virus" perhaps?

The same thing just happened to me. It's probably a false positive, but, to be on the safe side, I'm uninstalling GameCharacterHub until this gets cleared up.

Just purchased GCH this morning, and McAfee is giving me the same problem.

Giving you guys and update that I sent the file in last night to McAfee to fix their mistake. For now just disable your real time scanner forever and then turn it back on when you're finished with the software.

Hello,

I reported the issue to McAfee as well. This should get fixed soon. Thanks for reporting it.

I use Bullguard antivirus and it detects the program as a virus, too. Uninstalling GCH until a proper answer is received about the reason for the virus positive.

downloaded the automatic update today. Vipre antivirus put it in quarantine and identified it as Trojan.Win32.Generic!BT. Looks as though the maker is trying to upload a virus to us.

It's about 7 pm Eastern time and I just tried to download the program and McAFee said the same me for me to. It's really frustrating when stuff like this happens because I never know if the issue gets fixed or not.

They never reply back, so I got into web chat with one of their tech support because I got sick of waiting for email reply. I was told that they're working on new version of McAfee and it will allow you to add files you don't want to be scan for. Problem is she doesn't know when they be rolling out this new version, so look like it's gonna be long wait.

The same thing happens with COMODO. I can no longer run GCH.
EDIT: Name - Malware@#12h25yy97328b
