Widescreen?
Searched and searched and searched. Seems no patch or mod to get this to run in widescreen (thankfully a fan made mod for Aftershock exists). So no way at all to get this running in lovely, lovely widescreen then?

You dont need any mod (but there is no existence of it). Just open up the launcher, there will be 3 "1024x768 color depth 32 60Hz" option and the middle one offer a strech for widescreen (or one of them, you can be test it with the button above of it). Not a real widescreen, but it is a solution. It is working for me (1366x768), and I hope it will for to you too.

@lioneo,
for me there was
1024x768 colour depth - 32 60Hz
1024x768 colour depth - 32 70Hz
1024x768 colour depth - 32 75Hz

(none of them streched the screen for me, altho im playing at 1920x1080)
is it possible to resize it to 1920x1080 or am i stuck with 1024x768 :<?

im having the same problem. My last laptop, an 2012 HP Envy 15 never had this problem and played full screen. My new laptop, an Lenovo Y50 15.6 in, seems to have issues running older games for some reason.

As [Ming] was writing earlier select the option that is before the last. That stretched the screen for me
