Newest update made game unplayable?

I launched for the first time in about a month and was prompted with a new launcher, I opted out of it and when the game finished loading I had lost about 5 months of progress (Early august is last save) and the game was so sluggish and blurry that it took 2 seconds just for the camera to move in the game and when it did it was in slow-mo. Is this a common issue and what is the fix??

You really need to post your specs. A quick gander at this forum should tell you many people are having many problems, some like yours. One possibility is that you're playing with RT on, which causes a lot of problems for people with fame drops. It sounds to me that your GPU isn't up to the task of high settings. I'm not real knowledgeable about this, however; many people here are. Maybe it's your CPU that's giving you trouble; I don't know. It might benefit you to search the forum for posts relevant to your experience - lots of good information.

For me after about 3 save loads in short time my wholegame slows down to a crawl. RTX 3070 8GB and an I9 CPU game on SSD. Profile set too RTX and I even use that RT fix mod form Nexus but it still is unplayable after a few hours or too many save loads.

Weren't the default graphics settings in next gen set to RT with FSR? Try to turn RT off and set antialiasing to TAAU. If that doesn't help, keep lowering the other settings until you get something playable.

You can revert back to the classic version of the game if you like. That's what I'm doing right now. I do NOT like the changes made to the game and I honestly can't decipher whether or not the problems I'm having are bugs or intentional changes.

Someone around the net are saing it's was intentional to boost up the sale of new RTX series 4000, someone said it's not true, but if you have a RTX 4000 series for you there's no problem ^^ That's magic :O

Except I've seen people with RTX 4090s saying they have problems. That conspiracy theory is nonsense.

I reverted to v1.32. This required starting a new game, but I was tired of walking through locked doors like they were illusions, having a map with no custom markers, having purchased maps not reveal their target locations, having half the FPS as 1.32 (and for no noticeable advantage), etc. Witcher 3 Next Gen is Cyberpunk 2077 redux.

yea im reverting back , it's not worth it
