Reason Of State For Good Ending (SPOILERS)
I got the bad ending and when I looked up why it told me I said all the right things but missed Reason Of State, I reloaded a previous save and I'm doing it but is there anything else I should know for getting the Witcher ending?

For getting the Witcher ending do at least 2 of these 4
Snowball fight right after the Battle at Kaer Morhen (Dialog choice"I know what will make you feel better" or something along those lines)
Not accompanying Ciri to see the lodge of Sorceresses
Telling Ciri to go for it when she wants to destroy Avallach's lab
Going with Ciri to Skjall's grave

Keep in mind if you see Geralt telling the Emperor that Ciri is dead, and you have done the above things, that is the Witcher ending. Ciri is alive and Geralt is lying to get the Emperor off her back.

You need to take Ciri to the Emperor and side with Roche in Reason of State plus the things above if you want Ciri to become Empress.

He told the Emporer that Ciri was dead but I'm pretty sure she was dead (or gone at least gone forever)

Did you go to White Orchard? In the Witcher Ending Geralt lies to the Emperor to get him off Ciri's back, but she is actually alive and waiting for Geralt in White Orchard. In between the Emperor's palace and White Orchard Geralt gets a Silver sword for her.

No, he lies to Emhyr so that he will leave her alone. In the ending where she does not return and is presumed dead, he turns up in Velen and heads back to the bog to kill the last remaining Crone and retrieve Ciri's medallion.

The ending in which he is in Vizima and tells Emhyr that Ciri is dead is the one in which she becomes a witcher. If you stopped playing because you thought that was the case, simply try reloading that save and continue and you'll see for yourself.

ARE YOU ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ KIDDING ME!? XD I got so frustrated at that! And now I've looked up the bad ending and you're right! Thank you, you just saved me from doing about 2 hours work all over again.

No problem and as stated above, Reason of State really has no bearing on the ending you get. It's the immediate quests following the Battle of Kaer Morhen that determine that. Enjoy your game.
