Welcome, Duelysts, to the Duelyst F.A.Q.

We hope to answer the majority of your questions or concerns here! If you feel something is missing or you have a different specific question please let us know so we can help you out.

Can I use my standalone client account on Steam?
Yes! You can use your pre-existing account through Steam if you'd like to.

What happens when cards are buffed/nerfed/changed?
When cards are nerfed, buffed or changed you have approximately 1 week from the time it was changed where you can disenchant the card for full spirit value.

How much gold can I earn per day?
You can earn 15 gold every 3 wins, with no cap.

How do Bloodborn spells work?
Bloodborn spells cooldown on your third, fifth and seventh turn. After you have reached nine mana your Bloodborn spell cools down every turn.

How does draft work?
Draft costs 150 gold to enter and ends when you either hit 12 wins or accrue three losses. Prizes are based upon your record at the end, though a draft ticket is guaranteed after you achieve 7 wins.

What divisions are there in this game?
We have bronze, silver, gold, diamond and S-rank in the game currently.

How do ladder resets work?
The ladder resets at the end of every month. At the end of the month, you will receive rewards based on your final ranking.

Reach Silver (20) division to receive one random epic card
Reach Gold (10) division to receive one random legendary card
Reach Diamond (5) division to receive one random rare card
Reach S-Rank division to receive one random legendary card

The rewards are cumulative, if you achieve gold, for example, you will receive the legendary and epic monthly cards.

Why am I missing some basic cards?
As you level up your general you gain access to more of these basic cards!

At level two, four, seven, and ten you will unlock a set of basic cards for the associated faction.

Why can I only use half the generals?
You need to achieve faction level 11 to unlock the alternate general for each associated faction

How do I get the Sworn Sisters?
You can acquire the Sworn Sisters by getting the full set of core rares for the associated faction! If you want the neutral Sworn Sister you need 6 sets of 3x neutral rares.

Are there plans for a mobile/console/other versions of the game?
Yes! We plan to release on Linux, Mobile, and Console in the future.


How do you activate windowed mode?
Add -w to the games launch option to activate windowed mode in Steam.
