As I've read there is no Linux Support planned in the near future.
So I've tried to run the game with wine, but it crashes on start. But as I read about Windows users having the same error, I hope this will be fixed on wine too.

+1 Long time SC2 player master league for 7 seasons. Would love to play it but if its not on Linux im not touching it. After years of being ignored by game devs im not going to give devs my money if they aren't going to support my platform.

what Fluke said, except I am not experienced with SC2.. :)

please bring it for Linux, I want to play it too!

This definitely reminds me of StarCraft... +1 for Linux support, looks really compelling. I'll echo what Fluke and Ruudsch Ma' Hinda said, I'm tired of developers not supporting an open platform. SC was back in my Win98 days, and I couldn't even begin to count up the hours I sunk into that game. I'm sure I would play the hell out of this game as well. Completely skipped SC2 because of Blizzard's asinine decision to not include all of the story campaigns at launch, and I was already a hardcore Linux user by then.

Would buy if it were on Linux. Won't buy it otherwise. Your choice.

I have a code for this from EVGA but can't play it, even if I wanted to. Oh well.

Would love to see a Linux version of this sometime. hopefully some kind of Vulkan implementation in the future may facilitate this.

Sadly, I think it's going to work under Wine quicker than it'll take for the devs to express interest in a native port.
is it possibleto get it to run in proton? as it is now it starts but i get about 0.5 FPS ...
