What does this mean: "A male duck's atoms have a different 'spin' than a female duck's."

I know chemistry and biochemistry and a little quantum physics, and don't understand this statement, which is the message after the bonus "Interference" level. I know that some individual atoms can differ in some kind of quantum spin, but it seems crazy that this would be part of male/female differences. If this refers to chirality, I'm not aware of chiral difference in male/female molecules, either.

As far as I know, the smallest unit of male/female difference in kind (not in amount) is the X-Y chromosome difference. This statement implies something (much) smaller, and I'm very curious what it refers to!

Absolutely nothing. If you look at most of the bonus level completion statements (or at least the one's I've managed to complete), they are complete nonsense. This is also nonsense as far as I know. Hope that helps.

If I had to guess, it's a reference to animal sexuality. Male ducks have a corkscrew-shaped penis, and to increase selectivity of mates, female ducks have vaginas that corkscrew in the opposite direction. "Atoms" is likely a metaphor for genitalia.

Duck do not have XY chromosomes, but ZW and they act in a different way (ZZ male and ZW female).
And spins of atoms cannot be different in different sexes, because of their gender :)
