Newb Help
I've been playing this game for only a few days, but everything is confusing. I've made a cute tiny shack, but I can't place my own bed in it? On top of that, I have found that I can't destroy already built things???

In general, how do I get furniture into my shack and is there a good guide for newbs?

-Yes you can destroy things. Three ways is existing.
If you have an activ claim (the monument), the guild master have this power just by clicking on stuff. To build a monument you have to create BEFORE your guild in the options and after you will be able to raise a monument by clicking on the floor. I don't remember in which categorie it is. I think it's at the same place than the campfire and the little bark box. Everythings in the claim perimetre will be protect against enemy damage, container looting and doors will be openable just by the members of your guild. Having a monument is a must in the game. But don't forget to feed it if you build one. If you don't, it will disappear. Tips: fill it with combat stick give many filling points.

If you don't have a claim, you can destroy everything with the torch. Just have to hit the things until it get broken/on fire and after disappear. It take's times, many hits, maybe two or three torchs if the thing have many durability points. But in a way it's good because it will raise your demolition skill. If you play PVP that skill will be very useful later. Note that the torch is ineffective if a claim protect the zone.

If you are or have access to an admin (GM, game master) ask him. He can destroy in gm's mode by pointing and pressing N.

-You can put anything you want in your cabin as long as it fits of course. The placement options are a bit difficult to master, but often you just have to mount the object a little higher up from the ground. If you hear a noise when you try to deposit it is that you have to space a little more or that your character is too close.

-Sorry i don't know any good guide for starter. The Wiki of the game can help you but many Lif Yo infos are mixed with mmo infos. You can also ask your questions on the forum or google it. Just take care infos you get are up to date. Many changes had been made in last updates.
But i think the best thing is to play with someone with a lot of experience in the game. It's a very complexe game and don't expect to know everythings in couple of hours. I have more than 5000 hours done and i'm still learning things.

I link you my favorites guides for the game. They are very useful to understand the effect of the weather on crops and to track animals you want.

Ok thank you. The problem I had with the bed, is that it wouldn't let me build it inside the cabin. Every I would right click the ground so that I could build furniture it would just right click the cabin floor instead. I also have this problem of when I pick things up, it won't ever let me place them again. Even in the exact spot I had them. It always says, things are blocking my placement.
I imagine that you have already understood, but to be clear, it is impossible to build furniture inside your cabin.
Everything must be built on the ground outside. Then you can take them and place them wherever you want. With the exception of ovens and buildings of course.

If a message tells you that something often blocks it is that you have placed your construction crosses too close to each other or your character is too close from your construction or you have to select another box to place and then move with the arrows to find the correct placement location.

A little trick that helps placing objects in tight spaces is to do it in first person.
