AI Cheats; teleporting units
This irks me a lot.
If you produce a unit, and you already have a unit in your city centre and there's nowhere to move it, your only choice is to delete it.

If the AI produces a unit, anf they already have a unit in their city centre and there's nowhere to move it, they get to magically teleport it to a free space -which allows them to flank my armies.

In what world is this fair?

I personally don't mind that the AI has this slight advantage since it struggles with strategic battles against human players in general.

bad AI doesn't really excuse cheating though. Especially if it can turn the tide of a battle.

I agree with TC. I feel like there should be an option. I like to play with mods that slow down the tech and civics tree.. which end up causing the ai to have about 100 warriors/slingers etc. Now I have no problem with the amount of units the ai ends up producing but I have a problem with the teleporting. The moment either I wage war or they wage war, all the untis stockpiled in their city because of no available space end up teleporting in my land even if there was a vast ocean in between and they dont have the tech to travel the ocean.. then my city is sieged and I fight them off just for more to keep teleporting.. once peace has been signed.. and there is no space available for their units then they end up taking a permaning residance in my own land, unable to move and blocking my own units.. because the ai has no other tile for said unit.. at the very least there should be a unit limit based on the city size or tech progression. I love slow paced games and yes I do deal with the drawback that I stated but I feel like it breaks the immersion that I try to make/create with the take your time mods

It's 10 times worse with religion. You make any sort of move outside your borders and suddenly there are 80 apostles descending on your cities. The cheaty nature of this game is the biggest downfall for me. It pulls me out of the game every time.
