Overclocked Conviction bugged?
Is this achievement broken? I've got the wonder built (+4 faith) and 6 cities within 6 tiles of it (4 x 6 = +24 faith). That should satisfy the 28 faith requirement, and I've verified that all 6 cities are indeed getting the +4 boost. However, the achievement still hasn't popped.

Ditto.

28 faith, divided by +4 faith, equals 7 cities. It was an easy achievement.
6 new cities + your capital = 7 cities total. My wonder was built in the capital, which I don't think it matters.

Edit: By the way Basilisk, how did you get the Poland culture bomb achievement? I have a hard time with it. Not talking about Alexander deity impossible scenario, which I applaud you did.

OK, I was counting the 4 faith from the wonder, which doesn't count towards the achievement for some reason. Without that, 7 cities makes sense.

@Abalister: Hot seat multiplayer for Poland culture bomb. Same for capturing Egypt's capital in a liberation war for the latest DLC.

There's a trick to the Alexander deity achivement: you don't have to do it on deity. The description is incorrect. You just have to get the highest ranking. To do that, found at least 11 cities while conquering all of the others. You can raze cities for space as needed; for score purposes, you don't need to keep them after conquering them.

You can actually get both of the hotseat achievements in one game. Just do it with Nubia, Egypt and Poland.

I don't even know what a hot seat is. Does it mean I play all players?

Edit: Ok... I found the hot seat and human seats. Wow. I didn't even know such a thing existed. So I can play a whole new game, peacefully, owning and settling the whole map, with the civilizations I choose, and not bother about wars or barbarians. Huh. I'm speechless. It feels cheatty though, but it's not like I didn't try them. I feel dirty. Thank you.

Update ... I did win the Alexander scenario, on Prince difficulty, but I conquered the entire map and had 13 cities settled. I had 205 points at the beginning of the turn (turn 36). I conquered the last city, still on turn 36, and did not trigger the achievement. I reloaded the game, and waited 1 more turn, then conquered on turn 37, no achievement.

I think Deity needs to be chosen when the game is setup, I had all the «deity« conditions met and the achievement did not trigger. Maybe it was fixed.

200 points nets you the highest rank, so you're right, it might have been fixed. Good luck, I guess?
