[HOW TO - FIX] WIN 10 CRASH
Step 1:
Before you start Toybox Turbos change your "desktop resolution in windows" to 1280x720, otherwise this game will crash instantly if your resolution is higher, because this game is set by default to 1280x720

Step 2:
After that start your game and change the "in-game resolution"to your prefrerred one e.g 1920x1080 (this will cause a crash ingame aswell but dont mind that)

Step 3:
Before starting the game change your "desktop resolution in windows" back again to to the resolution you wanted and have set up in game e.g 1920x1080.

Step 4:
start the game and have fun :2016gameingame:

reason:
game is by default running 1280x720 thats why it is crashing. changing your desktop resolution wont cause a crash. you are then able to change ingame and after that change desktop :steamhappy:

i should not have to do any of this shi t....THE GAME SHOULD JUST FU CKING WORK
for me it crashes if i set it to fullscreen with anything besides 720p, if i set it to 1920x1080 windowed it works just fine (i use Borderless gaming app to play it with fullscreen)
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=572170315 a guide for this problem already exists. Deleted my dumb comments over it, I was looking in less obvious places for the config file.
Guide covers three different solutions, the config file solution is the most effective for me.
Though I also managed to hit Alt+enter as soon as the screen changed to black and managed to switch to window mode and it saves it in the config thankfully but thats only good if the config file isn't already created in the first place.
Win 10 fix for me
THANKS!
Thank you Artis! I agree. This is ridiculous. We shouldn't have to jump through hoops to play a game we paid for. Especially on Steam where games are easily accesible to update. A patch should have been immediatly applied to this game. This would have never been released on disk. Shame on you!
Just in case this scrambles anyone else's monitor like it did mine, here's a solution to fix that too. When I changed my resolution it scrambled my monitor to where it was unreadable but this has happened to me before so I knew how to fix it. Open AMD Radeon Settings, go to Display, and change your color depth from 10 bpc back to 8 bpc. It's rediculous that not only do you have to jump through the listed hoops to get the game working, you also risk messing with settings that aren't obvious to fix. First time this happened to me, took we weeks to figure out the problem.

Just saying i did not have to do anything special to run at the higher resolution....

Ask to Jesus, can help you !!!! God bless you brother !!!
I lowered my screen resolution to 1920x1080 in Windows settings then opened the game. It booted up and I changed my screen resolution in the game settings to 2560x1440. Then I quit the game, reset my PC's screen resolution to 2560x1440 and after that the game opens fine for me.
Thx man it works :summer2019raceway::summer2019rims:. I wonder why we must sort these problem, not they :lunar2019deadpanpig:
