Crash when passing time

I'm not sure what exactly is causing it, but when I load my save it crashes shortly after unpausing time. It doesn't seem to matter what I am doing at the time. Exception in thread "Thread-0" java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "com.enormouselk.ancientsavo.engine.creatures.HumanInstance.getTools()" because the return value of "com.enormouselk.ancientsavo.engine.generics.WorkerEntry.getHuman()" is null at com.enormouselk.ancientsavo.lwjgl3.Lwjgl3Launcher.probeConfig(...

WASD.xml is in fact TASD

If you select the preset for wasd scroll then T is scroll north and W is location 2, it seems.

How long does it take to "generating history, year 1" (version 0.9.07)

Mine has been generating for over an hour before I closed, restarted the PC, and tried again. It's been over 30 minutes now and it looks hung. The is both the Itch.io and the steam versions. Fresh installs. It does work if I start as a pioneer. Thank you!...

How am i farming wrong?

Some of the plants are 3 years in and have been listed as sprouted the whole time. Others withered randomly before becoming ripe. In both cases i can't find any way to clear the land for replanting. Am i missing how to drag logs/billets to empty fields to burn them to make farmland?...
