Can we give the rights of Steel Fury to Graviteam?
Many people really liked the tanksim Steel Fury, with its unique
gameplay centered on WWII tank simulation and tank platoon management.

http://graviteam.com/games/steel-fury-kharkov1942.html

SABOW is also a good tanksim, but it includes a large tactical
management part (far beyond the player’s tank platoon) that distracts
from the tank simulation experience and is not liked by many tanksim
fans. Moreover SABOW has no WWII campaigns! Unfortunately, Steel Fury
wasn’t further developed by Graviteam because its copyrights were
owned by the Russian publisher “Discus Games”. The idea is: let's buy
the copyrights of Steel Fury from them and give them to Graviteam for
free to let them developing that great tanksim further! We need
Graviteam to feel free yourself to improve the current tanksim or make
it even better with an improved simulation, modern graphics and
player’s tank platoon management and also more WWII
campaigns! Let's untie the hands of Graviteam and give us a perfect WW2 tanksim!

What do you think guys? Are you willing to contribute to buy Steel
Fury rights from “Discus Games”?

That goes implying they are wllingto sell it.
I would buy it, If I had the money to buy the rights, its a real good WWII tank sim.. and has more potential.
I'll chip in, get a go fund me going once they agree a price, let's be frank it's practically worthless to them right now.

I am all for getting the rights to the game.
I'd probably be able chip in. That depends how much it will be worth though.
I just bought Steel Fury from Gamersgate. An amazing sim but it really needs some love. The current owner must be making sweet FA from it. Even if they returned it to GT for 10% of sales they would probably make 1000% more.

Check out this site, lots of love being showered onto Steel Fury. http://stasf2008.forumotion.com/t805-stasteel-tank-add-on-3-3-steel-fury

And this video shows only a sliver of what this mod has done to transform and raise the concept.

Looks amazing Red Squirrel. I hope the guys are still active and they respond. Cheers for the info mate.
Red Squrrel,

The full STA 3.3 set at 45 EUR is quite expensive. Is it necessary do you think if I want some Panther action?

You can download STA 1.2 on their site, it's an older version that is avaliable for free.
Start a go fund me, kick starter, or something. I'd pitch in my 2¢, or like $10CAD.
One of the devs commented quite a while back that the Steel Armor engine was all they needed to make a WWII add-on for Steel Armor. No need for the rights to Steel Fury. I took this as a hint that something was coming down the line. That has not materialized as of yet.
i feel like that wouldnt be necessary as the mod community for steel fury is pretty big
How the hell is it possible that with 10K games being released a year we have SB and SABOW for realistic tank simulators and neither covers the period involving the most tank battles (WW2). I really would think there'd be more of a market here for those unwilling to settle for War Thunder.
