I found a similiar issue being talked about on tomshardware, here's the thread
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-3600253/unity-crashes-windows-bsod.html
I've never encountered this myself, but i hope this helps.
Probably nothing there you haven't considered. I assume there's no Windows updates waiting either? And DirectX is up to date too.
Audio drivers have caused other problems with the game failing to load (black screen), for other people. So that should certainly be considered: https://forum.terratechgame.com/index.php?threads/0-8-1-crashed-on-game-load.16231/#post-117801
But generally one expects that software shouldn't be able to cause a blue screen without there being an underlying hardware (or driver) issue. So faulty RAM, etc, should be considered, if none of this helps. (TerraTech is a pretty demanding game on processing power, etc.)
You could also make a bug report thread on the forum, so you can upload your output_log.txt file and DxDiag.exe output for the devs to take a look at.
Good luck. :-)
