bertha is not even remotley as good as battleship cannons, it has less range, less DPS, and is several times the size of the battleship cannons, the battleship cannons also rotate faster.

the equivilent ammount of battleship cannons (vs cost) are more than three times as strong, will weigh less and be easier to place aswell*

only advantage of bertha is that it has the highest per module health of any block in the game, but unless your going around with a naked tank (no shields) this wont matter much.

The Battleship Cannon does not move.

The barrel does move a bit, the Bertha moves too but less than the battleship cannon.

The Battleship Canon is definetly better. The Big Bertha is more limited in range and in its ability to aim (it only goes up and down, and only a little, and very slowly). The Mk3, however, is able to aim at much wider angles (still very limited, but better than bertha), it's hit box is smaller so it fits into more places, it has better range, and I don't know for sure because I haven't officialy tested it but I'm fairly certain that it fires faster as well.

the battleship cannons are themost powerful cannon in game, even terratech says so. Big berthas are actually really underpowered

Yeah, the big bertha is pretty dissapointing. Considering its massive size it should be many times stronger, and much more expensive.

Don't use big Bertha its not as good as the Hawheye battleship cannon first big Bertha is humongous and isn't good for close combat meaning you can't use only big Bertha second has slower reload then battle ship cannons and third you can't stack big Bertha cannons but can stack battleship cannon

All big bertha needs is a massive damage buff or maybe a massive AOE depending on if it fires AP or HE

I think the Big Bertha needs a huge range boost in addition to a huge explosive HE boost. If a player is say investing all the space in placing 1 Big Bertha, I think the investment should reflect the performance the player is getting out of it.
Mind you can fit the battleship cannon into a smaller tech while the Big Bertha requires quite alot more space.
Not to mention the slow rate the Big Bertha adjusts it's aim as it is.
