How to connect 8 gamepads

Hi,
I have 4 xbox360 pad wirh cable, and I would like to play Gang Beasts at 8,
But Xinput only alow 4 gamepad, so wich gamepads would you recommend please?
The cheaper the better :)

I got a wireless receiver and a USB hub. That way I can use 4 wired controllers and 4 wireless controllers.

However, I have found that I need to pair/sync the wireless controllers before I connect the 4th wired controller.

Not sure if there is another option.

thanks for your comment, Are they all xbox360 controller or something else?

Yes, they are all official Micorsoft 360 controllers.

Ok, didn't think we could have 4 wired AND 4 wireless Xbox360pad at the same time.

I just tried 5 wired and 2 wireless and it worked just fine, so maybe 8 wired wouldn't be a problem, unless you've actually had issues. And my previous comment about pairing the wireless ones before plugging in the last wired one doesn't matter. the lights just dont come on, but they are still active.

Ok, and by any chance, did you tried that with the dolphin emulator?
Because Bomberman Wii with 8 players sound AWESOME ^^

Hey I'm trying to figure out how to plug in more than four WIRELESS controllers, I have two wireless receiver dongles in my computer and it seems to just confuse the computer? And yeah , having it for 8P Bomberman with the Dolphin would be amazing. We used to play 8P Bomberman by using 2 Xbox 360s playing Bomberman Live.

But if you make it work, could you tell me please?
And have you tried Dolphin with more than 4 xbox360 controllers Clarissa?
it's impossible to find anything about this on google... nobody like crazy huge party games these days???

I've tried to google how to get it to work too, there's really nothing to work from. Fact is, VERY few games have support for more than 4 players so its not a common issue people have. I'll still try to get 8 controllers to work!! I want it to work so bad. And no I haven't tried the Dolphin but I bet if I'm able to get more than four controllers to interface it should work with the Dolphin. But as far as I can tell, it might not be able to be 8 XBOX wireless controllers, it may have to be 4 wireless controllers, and four wired controllers.

Ok, just tried with 4 wireless with receiver + 4 wired xbox360 pads and...
WORK PERFECTLY FOR GANG BEAST WITHOUT ANY MODIFICATIONS !!!

That's a good thing :) but I still can't do it in Dolphin, because it only detect 4 Xinput device even when I connect the 8 pads.
Does somepony know how to make a x360 pad appear as DirectInput ???

i was using 2 xbox one controllers and 4 ps4 controllers at one point dident need anything extra to run i was also playing on the keyboard at the same time worked just fine for me to plug and play might work better with newer gamepads in gerneral or its windows 8.1 which i doubt as its a pile of ♥♥♥♥ thus far

SO I've been able to get 8 wireless X360 controllers working simultaneously, the thing is its just really finickey after the first four, so its frustrating to deal with. Like some just will randomly not connect, and might disconnect unbeknownst to you since after the first four the controllers dont display any lights when they're connected. But it does work, kind of. And I think the controller becomes DiretInput when playing games that use DirectInput, like Gang Beasts.

Yes you're right it become directInput automaticly... exept in dolphin :(

I organize a party with around 25 people in a month,
And I need a lot of party games that can be played with 8 players on the same screen with xbox360 pads, and are easy to learn for someone who never played the game.
My first choice is obviously Gang Beasts :)
Followed by Micro Machines V3 (with epxe emulator for ps one it work fine with 8 pads) newer version don’t allow more than 4 players :(
I really want BomberMan Blast on Wii with Dolphin emulator, but dolphin doesn’t recognize more than 4 xbox360 pads, a solution?

Any other good game to suggest please???

This is probably out of the question, but you can play 8P bomberman if you have two xbox 360 consoles to play System Link with. And you only need to hook up to a single TV once the game starts. Or just play it on the Wii? I don't know of any solutions for the controller limitations with Dolphin, I've never used it.
