Steam key for existing owners?

Hi, I was wondering if you will be providing Steam keys for existing owners of this game? I own it from Indie Royale Debut 4 bundle myself.

I would not get my hopes up after the Bunny Must Die debacle as well as how they handled Suguri-X.

It's even worse now with Indie Royale and Desura pretty much dead because there's no one we can appeal to (not that they were ever much help in these situations) nor anyone else who can verify what was or was not in their contract.

I'd say short of whoever's in charge of Rockin' Android being visited recently by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and furture, it's not going to happen sadly.

Just pony up the three bucks. If they happen to give the keys out, gift it to a friend.

Why would I want to pay for a game I already own?

To support the dev, though I wonder if Frozen Orb is even active anymore. They must have had a say in this game's release since it wouldn't have appeared on Steam otherwise.

Regardless, it's great there's now an easy way to buy a great shmup. Now for that Steam Hellsinker release...

There is no reason to support a developer who is not standing in for his bundle obligations.

For all i care, i wont purchase again.

As an ex-tester for this "fine" company, I will say do not be surprised if they shaft everyone again. The guy in charge pretty much does not give a doodie about customer relations.

Despite Bad Juju being in Chapter 7 bankruptcy, the Desura and Indie Royale site are still alive... you can get the DRM-free version of the game from either place. I too would like a Steam code, just so my games are all under the one roof, but if it doesn't happen I won't weep...

Frankly, the point of Indie Royale Debut bundles is to get Steam keys. As the 4th was almost 2 years ago, I hope the developers were paid and if so expect a Steam key.

Granted, the distribution is a pain. I'm currently awaiting a key from a later Indie Royale bundle where the developer sent the Steam keys to Desura and a Steam key field is available. Unfortunately, clicking to get the key (in either the web site or the client) says it must be grabbed from the Indie Royale site which doesn't seem to be as nicely automated.

It's just not likely gonna happen, RA has proved now and again that they are just up for a cash grab.

They already confirmed Indie Royale bundle owners will be getting a key (on twitter). No one else will though.

I am sure you don't say 'why would i want to receive something I have not paid for', every time you are given something for free.

I ask, why would you want a key for a game you can already play?

Oh... because there are some benefits to you being able to play the game via Steam or having it in your Steam library, and you think you should receive those for free?

What a horrible generation of self-entitled teenagers is coming our way. The future is not bright. :-/
