X: Beyond the Frontier

X: Beyond the Frontier

Plot summary?
I tried playing it, I just kind of cant. The controls feel really weird. So whats the basic plot of this so I can play 2? And does X-tension have better controls?

X-Tension has the same controls as X:BTF. One plus for X-Tension is that you start with a singularity engine time accelerator in your ship so you don't have to fly around so slowly at the start of the game. Its kind of a huge fail that the tutorials right at the start of X:BTF don't even tell you what a SETA is. A person could play it for 10 mins and decide the ship flies too slow and quit without ever realizing there is a way to speed up time.

Don't know what package you bought, but if you picked up the superbox that comes with an encyclopedia with all the information you could ever want on the X universe, including the plot.

I bought it the same way and had the same problem, but it's actually where a lot of bonus content goes (finally found my Witcher 2 bonuses, for example). Click on library and then tools. There will be quite a list, most likley. At the bottom of the list there will be one that says X something, maybe even X Superbox. Regardgless you can't miss it. Install that and then run it like you would a game, just from the tools menu. All the content is in there.

Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any further troubles (don't check the forums that often, especially a dead one like this).
Thanks for the help man, I'll check it out.
