We have the funds to last through the year, but not enough to safely last through developing the next game, especially considering the risk inherent in launching a game.
Rock, Paper, Shotgun
Polygon
IGN
Destructoid
GiantBomb
If we get at least some of those, the rest are liable to follow.
Maybe for the next game then? If nothing else it will help you guage interest, and could remove some of that risk.
Don't think we should get ahead of ourselves in regards to android games at the moment. They probably need to gauge how well this and the expansion, especially with the unorthodox economy pyramid.
I tend to agree. I'm not quite sure how much this added publicity (whatever its scale turns out to be) will contribute to your bouncing back out of this situation, and you may find yourself having to choose between closing down or determining the potential success of a future game BEFORE you start making it.
Needless to say, closing down is the less favorable outcome, both for us players and for you guys. :P
Edit: Hmm... expansion... *starts up Chrome to investigate*
Re-edit: Interesting stuff, I particularly like ***CENSORED*** as it adds a lot of extra ***CENSORED*** to ***CENSORED***. Well, okay, that's the only major thing I see so far, so it wasn't a hard choice. :o
It's too soon to tell if there's any complaints I'll have to slap a ***CENSORED*** on, though. :)
