Hello!

Is there any way to tell my fleets to not attack every civilian ship that passes/enters a system?

I have set up an ideal fleet for my current game based around long range missile engagements. While it is just perfect for killing off enemy fleets, when I order my ships to capture planets in the system they quickly run out of supplies because they keep spamming at these useless freighters.

If not vanila, any mod to help me? Its just dumb that either i keep them on hold fire (and miss when enemy fleet enters the system or system defence ships spawn in and incur losses unless i spot them. NOT the type of tactic i want)

Not the answer you were looking for, but look on the bright side: Killing freighters gives special funds (except when they load coal).
I often use a special siege-ship, because my ships are usually equipped with very few supplies.
Thats what I actually did, but I kind of made a destroyer build while at it with troop pods included.

But yeah, not the answer I was looking for.
When selectiong a fleet down at the bttom of the screen you can set a few fleet engagement options, in this case hold fire may be the best option
