How to recover save file from a pc crash.
If your save file got reset back to 0 from a crash caused by power outage or something similar, I will provide you with 2 solutions on how to recover/give yourself back your progress.

I am also looking into finding a fix for this so that it does not happen to more players. However, this is quite a common issue with idle games since these games are always open and a power outage will cause the steam cloud to mess up.

There is an easy way and a "hard" way.
Make sure the game is closed when you do any of these methods.

1. The easy way. Search for %appdata% in the bottom left search bar. This will open a folder. You are most likely in "Roaming." Click back to "Appdata" and then open "LocalLow." Inside LocalLow, find the "EagleEye Games" folder and open it. Then open the PegIdle folder and here you will find the save files. Open "data.SavePegIdleData" and here you can change variables to whatever you want. My advice is you locate "prestigePoints" by pressing CTRL + F and search for "prestigePoints". Here you change that number to roughly the amount you think you would need to be back at where you were before your pc crashed. Then save the folder and re-open the game.

2. The "hard" way. (I must say, this method is usually a dead end for most players) First way is to locate the old steam cloud. If the steam cloud save is before the crash happened, chances are you can replace your current save with the old cloud save. The cloud save is located here: https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorageapp/?appid=2821890 Download the file and replace it with your old file.
