Conquering Primitives broken?
New disaster system has unfair requirements for spawning revolt disaster on planets with Stellar Culture Shock modifier, newly conquered primitive nations will always have the disaster spawn within a few months, and you are required to deal with it by either dishing out amenities or just dealing with the revolt in time. Pls fix.

Have you tried temporarily relocating some of the primitive pops to other worlds? I have not yet tried conquest of primitive world in current version, but so far I never had any issues subjugating worlds of other spacefaring empires or otherwise keeping my pops in line.

Old news, It's already in the list of hotfixes.

You cannot resettle pops with Stellar Culture Shock modifier. I guess its just gonna be in the hotfixes for later, because ~30% unhappiness is enough to trigger the event for revolt. Best to just integrate or avoid primitives until fixed.

just nerve staple the lot of them or wipe them out

Seems to be enough to get 40%+ stability with holo theatre + jobs for all + distribute luxury goods

Also with synth or psionic ascension, you can apparently delay the unhappiness from all their pops being unemployed

Yeah i just ran into this nonsense and i also started a discussion :D then i noticed this. Quite surreal that any kind of slaves suddenly became much more powerful within a few months than a spacefaring civilisation with much more advanced technology.

They stole it from you.

Just plop some troops down and the revolt has no real effect. You can't just drop down and leave immediately.

Incorrect, unfortunately.

With the new situations system, once the 'situation' gets to the end, instead of the revolt causing an actual ground war, they simply BECOME their own nation, and you're stuck with a 10 year truce, and even on a difficulty as low as ensign, the Primitives will be able to outproduce you in terms of resources in the early game, being able to effectively match your fleet, while also taking as many star systems as possible.

Oh, did I mention that when they become their own rebel nation, they ALSO get to take at least another system of yours?

Yeah. It's broken.

ground troops do not engage the rebels upon revolt, the revolt is instantaneous and will actually take some of your nearby systems, and you get a 10 year truce (???) with the rebelling faction.

until it is fixed just give them the chemical bliss living slandered.

Encountered this today while trying to play slaver corp with mercenaries. Tried to get some slaves from primitive planets and they revolted in a few months - no way to stop it. Stellar shock prevents resetting for 20 years, using amenities or soldier jobs doesn't work, as you need to build like 10 buildings and then resettle YOUR pops just to make them soldiers lol, so not enough building slots or time to raise stability. Then they just revolt and take EVERYTHING inside their borders, including your main pop with them, and you can't invade them due to truce for 10 years. Stellar shock my ***.

Bizarre how they let those bugs and imbalances through. I tried playing scholarium - op, bugs, broken. Then I tried cave dwellers - op, bugs, broken. Now I will have to restart for the fourth time without even getting to first crisis, because something isn't working correctly. I didn't even install mods yet, still trying vanilla.

Easier said than done. Significantly easier said than done. Why would I give a living standard to my livestock? Besides, sometimes you wanna/have to conquer filthy xenos early rather than later. For example, Necrophages start with their nearest colonizable worlds as primitives rather than empty planets. The savages could revolt and you're screwed

its funny because before 3.4 you could just invade the rebelling primitives immediately... why did they add a 10 year truce??? it doesn't make any fcking sense.

same with vassals, alot of times they instantly break free, no war, no threat, no indication that it was ever going to happen, it appears as a brand new nation with a 10 year truce and no subjugation casus belli granted. had 5 different 1 system enlightened primitives do it within a single year.
