I don't think I'll be making it to the Xvan labs anytime soon.

And I hate having unfulfilled tasks in my status bar. About 4 minutes later, I got the Old Gods quest. 2 of the systems were the 2 systems into which I had expanded. And of course they were bugged. So I just quit. Fired up a new game. Below is one of the colonizable planets by me:

It would be cheaper and more efficient just to terraform it to tropical and back to continental. This game hates me this morning.

Nothing tops the Find the Furry quest (Wild Creatures for a zoo.)

4/6ths of which were in Other Empires (1 of which would not open borders AT ALL (+55 Trust). I mean it's not even the case of Planets not being available . MANY MANY Planets and empty space at that time (I had 50 empty systems or more surrounding my empire.) So it was intentionally done that way to Promote conclict. I conlflict for my purposes, no one elses.

What does the Xvan Labs quest even reward you with? Lab is never even resonably close to my empire...

The reward I got were Engineering Lab IV tech 50 % completation. Pretty much worthless tbh. I really hope there are other rewards.

Sounds nice if it's relatively early on and close to you. Not gonna happen for me though - same as OP, it's on the other side of galaxy for me.

It won't really do you any good before you have 1-3 unlocked though.

I mean, it's not bad to have. But it's not necessarily good or worth hunting for or goign straight for it.

If memory serves I got a text saying that I already had the weapons in the lab so it gave me some kind of bonus to it. Don't remember what, though.

How where they bugged? You know you jsut fly a science vessel into it and then you can research the project. You cant just do it from galaxy map like all other projects/anomalies.

If it is a system you control, sometimes when you fly into the system, the project won't trigger. You have to destroy your bases in the system then fly in again to make it trigger (the devs are aware of it, so hopefully it is fixed soon). Way too much of a mineral hit with only three systems.

It is supposed to be opposite side I think. What I did? Just explore that science vessel on over. You dont need control to research.
