This game has multiplayer
But it is not listed as having multiplayer. Was the service cancelled that supports it?

Awww, I would have bought it again if I was certain I could do multiplayer with fellow steam users.

There's nothing quite like getting a jump capable ship close to the enemy carrier, facing it, then opening a portal on the far side of the enemy and ramming into them as you try to break lightspeed.

I would play it again too

tested the gamespy network set up.. if you go into gamespy with another person you can see the person in the lobby. then i tested if you try to host and play a game. the game will work for the host but not the player

GameSpy multiplayer service is shutting down at the end of May, all games with it will no longer have functioning multiplayer unless patched to something else.

That is useless data given the discussion

I know I'm late to the conversation, but how is that useless given your OP?

Hey guys I used the CD version of the game since it came out, and still have the CD, though it's damaged so it won't fresh install. ANYWHO what I'm saying is that you don't need Gamespy to use the multiplayer, you can do local on the area network, or all yall can just put in a server's IP address and join that way. It's an oldschool method but it will always work, if you can remember IP'S that is.
h ttp:/hamachi.ru.softonic.com/ Hamachi. no lag
