Why are they using a Kernel level anti cheat

i dont get why they'd do that. I was excited for the game and was gonna pre order it. Then i found out they using a kernel level anti cheat, like why. For those of you who dont know a kernel level anti cheat is a anti cheat that has control over your computer. It runs and scan your computer even when you aren't playing their game. It basically has access to anything on your computer, you have no privacy anymore once its activated. Anyway it's such a bummer cause i was excited for the new game and now i dont want to play it.

Just because someone does something bad doesn't justify it. Sad that we are expected to install rootkits to play games now, giving it more access than you yourself have...

which games? saying play without drivers is like dont use any hardware lmao

hardware have 2 drivers user mode and kernel mode, kernel mode is faster but crash your system if you dont know what are doing.

ofc drivers will be in kernel to be faster and you dont need hock evry API call like anti-virus / anti-cheat when most of devs dont care outside the game.

which already being bypassed , no matter what you do cheater are advanced the ppl who got harmed 5y old kid who download free cheat and normal ppl who want use their machine outside one game.
