Cheats are already developed. So much for Secure Boot requirement for EA's Kernel-Level Anti-Cheat

Do we know if the anticheat is even fully implemented in the beta?
Also i dont think they will ever make cheating impossible, just makes it difficult enough that a lot wont bother, so how is this an arguement against secure boot?

Its like
not an argument in fact? O.o
Sad day for EA/DICE.

Is it really that difficult if people figure out how to bypass your protections 1 day into the beta?
Secureboot does little to nothing when it comes to cheats. All it takes is a ~100 dollar side tower to spoof a kernel level handshake on that rig and send it to your pc with hacks. All this does is stop crappy free hacks that get caught anyways. Anyone that wants to actually keep their accounts and cheat already has a side tower to get around all of this. The average cheater today can buy a DMA card, fuser and kmbox for less than $100. No secureboot will stop any of them and it already showed it hasn't because other games tried, with no results.

Secureboot doesn’t stop cheats in even the slightest way. This was already confirmed multiple times in bf2042 and all other games with dead player bases that are dumb enough to actually force this on users. Any modern cheat is capable of bypassing secure boot. Additionally, I love all the cope responses from the low IQ hivemind mongoloids. "It's for security! All the other games do it! Enable secureboot for your own safety! You'll have to do it eventually!"

They're trying to force you to either use it or update to Winblows 11 which is just more bloatware and less agency or control over your own computer that you paid for with your own money, meaning they want you to not own your actual computer or have even less and less ownership over time. No thank you. Also, Windows 10 will continue rolling out security updates past October 2025 so at this point, them trying to force this on users is throwing crap at the wall and hoping it sticks.

Imagine how evil of a company you have to be dealing with. With bf6, not only are they giving you an overpriced product that is basically bf2042 with a different UI and slight changes with recycled mechanics from previous bf games, but then to top it off, they want you to risk bricking your OS boot and pretend it's for the sake of preventing cheaters when it does little to nothing to prevent cheaters.

It's like they read a forum post from 5 years ago about how using secure boot is the new wave for security meanwhile cheaters are 10 years ahead so they go, yeah, might as well put it in our games, I'm sure this won't affect anyone. That is the level of competency and foresight that you're dealing with. The best part, you have unpaid QA testers on here who WILLINGLY play a game that won't be finished until at least 2-3 years after release when the game is already dead telling you it's your fault for wanting any privacy or agency over your computer. You can't make this up, I don't get how half of these people responding on these post function in society. Just line up and do whatever you're told, don't forget to pay the devs before the game is even released too, the perfect drooling consumer.

Can't developer's implement nvidia shadow play (screen recording) with Ai to track on screen data. It would be recording from the hdmi output no? so how would cheaters bypass that? They can preload aim I guess but Ai can handle that due to recurring impossible reaction times. Trigger bot would be an issue but they can implement "overwatch" (like csgo where players would be shown pov's of cheater game play and vote on it). I wouldn't ban cheaters instantly I would put them on hack v hack lobbies and that's when they'd get caught for certain cause their ego would turn the cheats up to 100. I'd rather buy better hardware to overcome fps drawbacks then have kernel level safe and effective.
Secureboot was never going to stop all cheats. It prevents certain type of cheats being used and makes it harder for cheat makers.

It was never advertised that it would stop all cheaters either. If it did everyone would use it.
lmao ofc they do, since the devs are not capable to protect from hackers and never have been actually

just keep pre-ordering :steamsalty:

WELLP! That was a big lie! :evillaugh::lol:

How is it a lie? It says it will reduce the numbers.

If this game didn't use Secureboot cheaters could load the cheats into the bios and have them undetected making the cheating situation worse. How would that make it better for you?
Might be external „DMA“ cheats (start 23:20) https://youtu.be/RwzIq04vd0M?si=RUXQIz6o7lH_sNYH
"battlefield 6 is the best call of duty weve had in ages"
say what you will about console "plebs" but they have zero cheating problems. and I own one, guess I'll be playing this on me XSeX.
