So......Much.......Ammo!

Anyone else think this game over does it a bit with the amount of ammo you get? I'm playing on the hardest difficulty and 9/10 of my shots with the pistol (most useful weapon after the typhoon in my opinion) are all headshots. It would be nice if on each progressive diffuclty it removed some of the ammo and replaced it with a weapon upgrade here and there. It would force you to rely more on your stealth/skill/takedowns/typhoon, thus increasing the difficulty but also allowing you to still do some serious damage to bosses/bots when you need to. The hardest setting is almost a joke once you get a feel for the game.

I do agree that there IS a lot of ammo but as you go through the game you will need it against bosses or if your doing a combat run

Playing on hard as well, just met Tong in China. I've found a ton of pistol ammo but I mainly use the combat rifle and shotgun and definitely have to make the most out of my shots. Until I met the mercant in China I couldn't keep more than 20 bullets in my rifle.

If you're doing a pure combat run then yes it would make sense to have that much ammo laying around. I was more thinking along the lines of the hard setting, it's almost impossible to do a pure combat run on hard. You have to sneak around a bit just to avoid getting shot to bits by the guards in most areas. Oh and I use no weapon ammo against any bosses, just set off your typhoon twice and it'll kill them

If you're doing a pure combat run on the hardest difficulty setting, there is not enough ammo. You are always scrounging and end up having to drop guns you like just because you have zero bullets in any guns and need to take someone's machine pistol (UGH!) or combat rifle (YUCK) because that's all anyone seems to be dropping.

But yeah, on a stealth playthrough, the only issue I ever had was enough tranq darts and only because my aim is garbage with it haha. I didn't go pacifist so I used my silenced pistol a bit but always had 100+ bullets

not really the enemies drop less than a full clip sometimes even just a single bullet but since I'm doing a pcifist run I get alot of ammo for everything

Then again, maybe I'm just an♥♥♥♥♥♥ Personally, I HATE stealth, so I'm always praying for more ammo.
