There is no upgrading to DC. They are 2 separate games. If you have the original, and want the DLC, I suggest buying it separately and avoiding the Director's Cut. Look elsewhere (greenmangaming, etc.) for the DLC.
a bug fix? it adds so many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bugs and makes the framerate slower than an old lady snail crossing a road made of conveyor belts
There's no real improvements, don't worry about it.
