So, apparently you do not get credit for killing the boss if they die to reflect damage. I was on level 25 or so of the tower, and fang killed himself through reflect damage while hitting my tank. I didn't get credit for killing him, so I can't move on to the next floor. Sad day.

How do you even access the Tower?

I bought the DLC for it but its not on my map. I have a Level 13 ruler and a level 5 ruler and I tried starting a new game thinking maybe I had to start fresh but thats not it either. Did I simply give the Devs $2 for nothing?

i too just killed a boss and didn't complete the objective for it.. clicking bug report in the game brings you to a website that has a erorr and cannot be reached.

generally i find myself restarting the game due to buggy game behavior once an hour. it's actually annoying.

You're lucky you get to fight bosses. I don't tend to get past level 7 of the tower as the game'll hang up on me due to 266 items in my inventory.
